Located in South West Colorado, Naturita is also expecting more stringent effluent limits on their wastewater lagoon. While not as cold as Kremmling, Naturita still suffers from cold winters and high ammonia levels in their wastewater lagoons. The pilot studies in Naturita and Kremmling will provide a very robust data set for use in obtaining state wide approval from the Colorado Department of Public Heath and the Environment.
